After some bad outings in Hindi movies in Love Aaj Kal (2019) and Radhe, Randeep Hooda makes a comeback as the main lead to Hindi Entertainment in his upcoming Netflix series- CAT. Last time we saw Randeep Hooda in a good movie as a villain in Netflix’s – Extraction, Chris Hemsworth was the main lead in the movie.
CAT Trailer Review:
Randeep Hooda plays the character of Gurnam Singh, who lives in Punjab, India. It looks like Gurnam Singh works as a daily wage worker and has carried out some mysterious missions in the past. The story of the show seems to revolve around the current scenario of problems Punjab’s youth faces, i.e., drugs. Gurnam’s brother is caught by Punjab Police as he was caught selling Cocaine on his college premises. Now as Gurnam requests the police department to leave his brother as he is a kid and college student, the head of the police department seems reluctant and wants Gurnam to get some of his work done.
The show premieres on Netflix on 9th December 2022. The trailer looks promising and we hope this time Netflix has brought something good for its viewers. Although the cast is not much recognizable except for Randeep Hooda, I hope other actors deliver as well according to what the show requires from them.
