RRR, the blockbuster hit of Indian cinema in the year 2022. The director of the movie – S. S. Rajamouli confirms that the script for the movie’s sequel is currently in development. The screenplay lands back to the original screenwriter of the movie, the father of the director himself – Viswa Vijayendra Prasad.
RRR was released on 24th March 2022, and just with the name of the stars and director of the movie, RRR hardly required any promotion because of the past achievements of these stars, N. T. Rama Rao Junior and Ram Charan. And as the movie was launched, all the buzz and wait for the movie was worth it as the movie had a really good story to narrate to its viewers, along with some beautiful shots and epic acting. Even the song that comes in the middle of the movie became a massive hit and became a trend for a while.
The movie’s budget was ₹550 crores and it collected around ₹1,200 crores. After that massive success, people did expect the legendary director to announce another movie soon but no one had a clue that we would be getting a sequel to RRR itself.
