After back-to-back news for Henry Cavill being excluded from the DC Universe, then included back after Black Adam, and now excluded again as Henry Cavill releases and conveys on his Instagram post that he will not be returning to the role of Man of Steel / Clark Kent / Kal-El / Superman ever again.
For me, Henry Cavill was the perfect actor who could have portrayed the role of Superman. Not just because of how he acts and has built his body to be the God he was asked to be. But the gentleman he is in the real world as well. Time and again we get to hear this from his co-actors and co-workers how he sets boundaries with everyone, and how he behaves with not just the actors but even with the crew members as well. I have never heard any complaints if he has ever been rude or disrespectful to his fans or anyone he meets.
A few weeks ago Henry Cavill even left the role as a lead in the Netflix Series, The Witcher. Even there he was perfectly suited for the role of Geralt of Rivia. And now the role of Superman, these have been a couple of bad months for Henry Cavill as he was perfectly suited for both roles.
Now with the exit of Henry Cavill, it is confirmed that DC Universe will be getting a hard reboot. The roles of Superman, Batman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and Cyborg will all be recast.
Gal Gadot will most probably continue to play the role of Diana Prince / Wonder Woman and will be getting a new storyline.
Jason Momoa will be playing the role of Lobo as he will end his arc as Aquaman from the second installment of the series, ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’. So maybe soon or in a few years, the role of Aquaman will get a recast as well.
Peacemaker and Bloodsport, played by John Cena and Idris Elba, respectively will continue to play their roles in the DC Universe along with their respective co-stars as well.
And same goes for Shazam played by Zachary Levi and other various actors as well will remain and play their roles in the DC Universe.
And now considering the rumors revolving around Matt Reeves‘ The Batman coming into the DC Universe has been confirmed to remain outside the DCU. So ‘the vengeance’ will not be included in the DC Universe.
And according to many rumors, The Flash‘s ending will be bringing in all the changes and the DC Studios has been planning and will officially reset almost the entire DC Universe. It is not confirmed in any way, but if the DC Studios, James Gunn and Peter Safran are planning to keep a few things from the previous DCU and bring them into the new DC Universe they are creating, it could be the best possible way to keep the things they want and reboot a few storylines they want to portray in the future.
Although, Ben Affleck is confirmed that he will not be returning to play the role of Batman again in the DC Universe. There have been certain insiders reporting that Ben Affleck has met with the co-CEOs of the DDC Studios and wants to direct a DC Universe film that the DC Studios are looking to build.
And as for last, can we please get to see Henry Cavill playing the role of Hyperion or Sentry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Please let #HenryCavill be #Hyperion in #MCU and let him be #Superman of #Marvel https://t.co/5IrahAuLi4
