Trailer Review:

Oppenheimer is a biographical movie about J. Robert Oppenheimer, who is also called as ‘the father of atomic bomb’. The role of J. Robert Oppenheimer will be played Cillian Murphy, who has been in many other movies of Christopher Nolan like – Batman Begins, The Dark Knight Rises, Dunkirk, and now in Oppenheimer.
The trailer starts up showing us an explosion, probably the one that would have been a test and not the final bomb that exploded in Japan. We see the Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer giving us a monologue for the movie, about what comes further, not only in his future, but what the future beholds for the entire world and how it will reshape the history.
We see the scientist assembling the final atomic bomb and a few combustion reactions about the after effects of the explosion of the atomic bomb. He says ‘they won’t understand it, until they have used it’, mentioning what are the vast possibilities and after effects of using an atomic bomb.
We see the glimpses of the process that takes place in making the atomic bomb. A few shots of photographers and journalists following Oppenheimer who we see is having expressions of guilt and tension even after what turned out to be a big move in order to win the World War majorly against Germany and Japan.

And as for a typical Christopher Nolan trailer, even after watching the trailer, we don’t get much from it. We don’t know exactly what is going to take place in the movie except a few major events we all know about. The director keeps us wanting for more from the trailer itself. We hardly get to see the wide cast of the movie as we only see Cillian Murphy mostly and a few glimpses of Jack Quaid, Josh Peck and Michael Angarano.

Oppenheimer will release on 21st July 2023 in theatres.
