Review:
And out of nowhere, we get another season of How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast). The last season’s finale felt like a natural ending, wrapping things up in a way that didn’t necessarily demand a follow-up. So, getting another season out of the blue felt a bit unexpected, maybe even unnecessary. While this season isn’t bad by any means, it does feel like the creators had already given viewers a conclusion to settle with. That raises the question: was this season truly needed, or was it just an attempt to stretch the story further?
But moving on from that, the show once again delivers its signature chaos, pulling us into another hysterical adventure with Moritz and his friends, who no matter how hard they try, always seem to get dragged back into his mess. Despite the unexpected return, the series still knows how to keep things entertaining, balancing high-stakes drama with its trademark humor and unpredictability.
This season is just as entertaining as the previous three, delivering another fun, fast-paced ride. It keeps the same energy that made the show so addictive in the first place. But Netflix needs to make up its mind, while Season 4 is being called the series finale, it doesn’t exactly feel like a definitive ending. With the way things are left, How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) could easily keep going forever.
Now let’s get to the things I liked and disliked in the final season of How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast).

5 things I liked about How To Sell Drugs Online – Season 4:
- Even though this season dropped a full four years after Season 3, the writers and creators have done a commendable job of maintaining the story’s flow and continuity. It doesn’t feel disconnected or forced, which is impressive given the gap. One of the most interesting aspects is how the world outside has evolved while Moritz, stuck in prison, has fallen behind. Once a tech genius always ahead of the curve, he now struggles to keep up. This contrast adds a fresh layer to the story, showing how quickly technology moves forward, leaving even the brightest minds behind if they’re not constantly adapting. It’s a sharp and realistic take on how innovation waits for no one.
- Continuing the first point, we see how lonely Moritz has become after spending four years in prison. His sister has grown up and is doing well, his father—once a cop—is now a mailman, and his friends have all moved on without him. This perspective is heartbreaking, as we watch Moritz struggle to find his place in a world that no longer waits for him.
- Even after a 4-year gap, the writers do a great job of keeping the comedy and humor exactly the same. The standout feature of this series has always been its sharp, intelligent, witty, and dark humor that leaves viewers chuckling and sometimes even questioning how things work in real life. (I’m sure you remember the hilarious breakdown of all the partners Leonardo DiCaprio’s has ever had, even before the internet caught on to it.)
- Even after a big gap, the actors seem to have reconnected effortlessly. Many of them have worked on different projects in the meantime, yet they slip back into their roles with ease and their acting and intensity remains the same. Their chemistry still holds strong, adding weight to the tension around Moritz trying to re-enter society after prison.
- Pacing is one of the best aspects of this series. The episodes are short and crisp, keeping the audience constantly wanting more. And despite the limited runtime, the creators have done a brilliant job of telling a huge story – from Moritz just trying to impress Lisa to getting tangled up with the international mafia. Even with a serious plot, the entire series remains a hysterical ride from start to finish.

3 things I disliked about How To Sell Drugs Online – Season 4:
- One of the major things I didn’t like about the 4th season was the decision to bring it back after a 4-year gap. I’m not sure if this was planned or a sudden call, but the audience was already content with how things ended in Season 3. Still, I have to admit, the creators managed to smoothly undo the previous ending and build a more logical conclusion for the series.
- And by bringing the show back to create a new ending, it now feels unclear whether the series has truly ended or if we might get another season a few years down the line. This is where Netflix should have been more transparent about their plans, so the audience isn’t left confused about what to expect next.
- Although the entire series is perfectly paced and enjoyable, this season didn’t focus much on the side characters. After a 4-year gap in the story, it would’ve been nice to see how the others had grown and what paths their lives had taken.
